Had Henry Ford polled consumers in 1895 to find out what they deemed as the next great improvement to transportation, they would've said a faster horse.  It's not that Mr. Ford invented the car, because he didn't.  Henry Ford created an automobile within the economic grasp of average Americans.  The model T hit showroom floors in 1908 with a price tag of $825.00. Over ten thousand were sold in its first year.  By 1912 he had managed to bring the price down to $575.00 and sales soared.   By 1914, Ford could claim a 48% share of the automobile market.  Let me explain to you why the Henry Ford history lesson is relevant to Real Estate.

Henry Ford didn't wake up and decide to create something new, from scratch, that had never been seen.  Instead, he took something that already existed and made it attainable for average, everyday, working class people.  Even after selling tens of thousands of cars, he fought to deliver an even better price to the consumer.  He didn't skimp on parts or compromise the integrity of the Model T, but instead he fought to deliver the same premium product for a better price, to everyone.  Pay attention here, its about to get good!
